Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who can bring expertise, passion, and leadership to our Board. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: fundraising, education, or one of A4SC’s core issue areas (Ethical Technology, Environmental Sustainability, Civic Discourse, Representative Institutions, Inclusive Communities, Strengthening Democracy, and Global Citizenship).
  • Passion for civic education and a deep commitment to A4SC’s mission and values — embracing our Know, Care, Act approach to developing civic leaders.
  • Strategic leadership and collaboration skills, with prior nonprofit board or community leadership experience a plus (though not required).
  • Time and commitment to actively participate in board duties, including attending quarterly board meetings and contributing to occasional events or initiatives between meetings.
