As a member of A4SC’s Board of Directors, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide strategic guidance and governance oversight for the organization, helping to shape A4SC’s vision, goals, and growth.
Attend quarterly board meetings (virtually) and actively participate in discussions and decision‑making.
Commit to making Academy 4 Social Civics one of the top three charities you support through your personal giving.
Leverage your network to connect A4SC with potential partners, donors, and resources that can further our mission.
Serve as a public ambassador for A4SC, promoting our mission and programs within your community and professional circles.
Contribute your expertise to program and curriculum development through occasional reviews or advisory input (optional, based on interest)
Your guidance will help A4SC reach more students and communities nationwide (and beyond), preparing young people to lead positive change.
In this role, you’ll help strengthen an organization committed to preparing students for pressing issues using innovative pedagogy.
Work alongside a dedicated team of fellow board members and staff who share your commitment to social impact, interdisciplinary learning, and democratic values.
Through A4SC’s focus on key issues (from Ethical Technology to Environmental Sustainability), you’ll help empower youth to tackle pressing challenges, creating a lasting civic legacy.
