Priten is an educator, philosopher, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of technology and education. As the founder of Pedagogy Ventures, an educational technology company helping teachers navigate the AI age, and Academy 4 Social Civics, a nonprofit focused on civics education to prepare students for future problems, he develops innovative solutions to help educators and students navigate changes and challenges, especially technological development.

Priten is the author of “AI & The Future of Education: Teaching in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (Wiley, 2023).” He also teaches social science courses at College Unbound, a bachelor’s college focused on adult learners. He has an academic background in Philosophy (B.A., Harvard College) and Education Policy (M.Ed., Harvard Graduate School of Education).

Nina Bamberg

Chief Programs Officer
Nina Bamberg has an MA in International Educational Development from Teachers College at Columbia University with a concentration in Peace and Human Rights Education. Her professional background includes teaching English as a second and foreign language, non-profit program management, and adult education. As the the CPO at Academy 4 Social Civics, she leads the initiatives to develop curriculum resources, teacher professional development, and student leadership workshops. Nina also serves as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Pedagogy.Cloud where she develops and leads professional development workshops and courses designed to help educators navigate the changes and challenges posed by artificial intelligence. She also serves as a course associate at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies and as a Citizenship Educator at The New York Historical. Nina is also a member of several professional coalitions working to improve access to quality civics and AI literacy education, including Democracy Ready NY and CivxNow, where she’s an active member of the AI Work Group.

Chandani Shah

Chief Operating Officer
Through her avid participation in debates, Chandani has cultivated a fervent passion for elevating societal consciousness, particularly in the realms of mental health and women’s rights. A devoted contributor to Indians 4 Social Change, she has illuminated pressing issues facing women in India, leveraging her love for writing to explore a myriad of topics. Balancing a rich palette of interests including writing, and social activism, Chandani not only enjoys but thrives in environments where the discourse on mental health and women’s rights is fostered, working tirelessly to advocate for change and awareness in these critical areas.

Nadia Sepsenwol

Curriculum Development Consultant
Nadia Sepsenwol is a playwright, actor, and educator based in New York City. She was a 2021 New York Foundation for the Arts playwriting recipient, worked as writer’s assistant to Tony-winning playwright David Adjmi on his Broadway smash Stereophonic, and recently received a full-length play commission from M-34 and LaMama Etc for their 2025-26 season. As an actor, she won Best Actress at Long Island International Film Fest for her work in the sci fi indie Sandbox, and has performed with companies such as The Public Theater, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and Classic Stage Company. She teaches theatre and environmental justice in New York City public schools through The Bushwick Starr’s Big Green Theater initiative. Honors BA in Comparative Literature from The University of Virginia, MFA in Acting from Columbia University.

Jodi Suckle

Curriculum Development Consultant
Jodi (she/her) is a travel operations professional with over 10 years of student travel experience and a passion for enabling people to experience and learn about the world. She is also the founder of Lovely Little Adventures, a company that supports tour operators, travel advisors, and anyone looking to design group trips that are sustainable and transformational. Jodi has a BA in International Relations from the University of Delaware and an MA in International Affairs from the New School. When she’s not thinking about travel, Jodi loves sailing, historical fiction, photography, and aimless wandering. Jodi has lived in New York, Tel Aviv, Thailand, Guatemala, and Pittsburgh.

Lorin Koch

Curriculum Development Consultant
Lorin is an educator and professional nerd with over 20 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development. His teaching includes in-person and online courses for both secondary and college-level students. He also writes and develops courses and lesson plans for several online entities. Lorin holds an Ed.D. degree from the University of South Carolina. He enjoys reading, puns, playing board games with his family, and learning new things. His main focus for A4SC is AI, which he liked before it was cool.

Richard Martin

Richard is a University of Delaware alumnus and experienced operations professional with a background in electoral organizing, nonprofit development and government relations. As someone who values lifelong learning, Richard is excited to bring his diverse and unique set of experiences to furthering A4SC’s mission of providing accessible interdisciplinary civics education. Outside of his professional endeavors, Richard enjoys travel, cooking for friends, and reading classic sci-fi.

Sam Seleznow

Curriculum Development Consultant
Sam is a proud alumnus of the University of Hartford’s Hartt School, where he studied theater and creative writing. Since graduating, he has built a dynamic career as an actor, musician, and educator, performing both across the country and internationally. When he’s not on stage or working on new writing projects, Sam dedicates his time to teaching music and voice, primarily to kids and teens in the NYC/Long Island area. Passionate about nurturing confidence and compassion, he is deeply committed to empowering the next generation through education
